The Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Lord of life, we confess we have not met our obligation to make the world a safe place for our children. We have disappointed you and fallen short of your charge to us to overcome evil with good. In humble submission we ask your forgiveness and beg to be renewed in energy and enthusiasm for the building of your kingdom on earth. Hear our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
The Assurance of Pardon
L. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know that you are forgiven and be at peace.
P. Thanks be to God who gives us life.

The Hartounian Creed (Unison)
We believe that we know no love of God for us without out love for one another; no faith or hope fro God except as we have faith toward one another or hope in one another. We hear no good news from God nor from His Son except as we speak it to one another. Such is the Church, and the Spirit of God is in it, and in us. Amen.

The Pastoral Prayer
L. Heavenly Father, we lift to you our children. For their brave play, for their natural curiosity, for the joy of childhood. O Lord, we pray for the children.
P. Gracious God, help us mold their character after the Lord Jesus.
L. God of Nurture, we lift to you our youth. For their search for meaning, for their quest for identity, for their endless energy. O Lord, we pray for our teenagers.
P. Gracious God, help us mold their character after the Lord Jesus.
L. Holy Spirit, our comforter and sustainer, we pray for parents, grandparents, and siblings. As our children grow, may they be wise in their counsel; May they be patient and understanding; May they provide the right challenge and support. O Lord, we pray for family.
P. Gracious God, help us mold their character after the Lord Jesus. Amen.
